Winter Beach Farm offers a comprehensive training program designed to help riders and horses of every level succeed both in and out of the show ring. Thanks to her extensive training under top names such as Margie Engle and Pierre Jolicoeur, Alex has a profound knowledge of the mechanics of riding and is able to teach from this understanding. Her training program revolves around being effective and thoughtful, focusing on flatwork and grid work designed specifically for each horse and rider. Whether you're competing in the show ring or working on foundational skills, Alex’s approach ensures growth and success.
She believes that a basis of patience, classical riding techniques and horsemanship paired with the modern style is the key to success for horses and riders. Alex believes in a comprehensive approach to training, focusing on the horse and rider as a whole. She believes that all horses and riders need a very well balanced, well-rounded education to be the very best they can.
In addition to training from the ground, Alex also spends time in the saddle on every horse as a part of her training program. This program is designed with each horse in mind and leads to growth and success for horse and rider.
Alexandra was also the recipient of the 2020 Rita & Irish Flynn Memorial Trophy.
